The one year only '71 renegade II had the d-slots. I have a set of the later renegade wheels as pictured above sitting on the shelf waiting for the right project. I think the kidney shaped slots look great on any ECJ . Lots of early broncos running them too.

One way you can identify the renegade wheel is that the lug nut hole is located in the middle of the jellybean/slot.

They have aftermarket one's too that look really close to the original factory wheels. I tried to find 5 originals and just gave up....if you can find someone with a complete set of 5 they either rightfully want an arm and a leg for them or you can't find 5 together so I just went for the U-101 repro's and glad I did. I was able to find wheels that were one size wider than the originals so my tires look better anyways. My 75 cj5 intermediate

I have the right project for those wheels. I have a 72 Renegade that I would love to have originals on. Any chance you want to sell ‘em?

Me too. Bought them at the Moonshiners Swap Meet for $125.00 with tires albeit worn and in need of replacement.
