assuming someone comes up with a way to mechanical pump that diesel, would that trans fit in an early as I know drivetrain length is a concern?
    Could be a cool package.
Thoughts, jut got to thinking over here.

It's pretty long. It's like AX15 big. If people have gotten one of those in an early, this'd work. Maybe if you swap to a later grill and move everything forward a few inches.

Supposedly the trans has similar guts to a BA10 but without the hassles of the aluminum case (Roxor one is iron). Depending on the input shaft length, it'd be neat to make an adapter for the T90 (assuming the CJ500 bells don't work out).

    T90 would be cool.
Will the later grill fit an early I mean fender and hood wise?
I still think if the length could work it might not be a terrible option especially if terra low will work in the roxor case

I don't think it's THAT much longer than the beefcake 4 spd's people put in + adapt to the Spicer18.

I have a later grill sitting in my '57 right now. I gotta drill holes to line up to the early fenders, and figure something out for the bottom mount, but it doesn't seem like an issue. I think I had the hood closed on it to. I'll try that later when I'm fartin' around. Looks like I'll get darn near a foot of space back. You're forward limited by the cross member, but even then, you have some length to make up for sure.

Good to know it will line up. As the PO of mine kinda hacked up my grill. Would you consider posting pics or pm pics of how it lines up.

Thanks again for all your help and info

OK by foot I guess I was optimistic. It's more like 6" ish. Still that is significant for above the cross-member space. This way you can cheat all the way up to the cross-member.

The big thing here, it seems, is the front support. I might go off the frame rails.
