Well the old clutch and flywheel are finally out and its time to find a replacement. The pressure plate is a Borg Beck but its not the three finger type its the multifinger type. There is an ink stamp on it 1862K. Reading about all the different clutch set ups and problems I thought it would be less confusing if I used the same style and manufacturer. Does anyyone know where I can purchase this style of Borg Beck Clutch set? I also need a pilot bushing, fork, pivot ball, release bearing, and dust cover. Thanks.

    Hi there Timber,
Technically speaking, "3" = "multi-". :D j/k. You probably have a diaphragm p.plate? Those are much easier to find than the 3-finger type, IMO. Can't believe I'm saying this, but consider hitting up AutoZone for a "Dynapak" clutch kit. When you go to pick it up, bring everything you can with you and compare apples to apples....p.plate size/depth, release bearing type/size, and pilot bearing. Ha ha be sure not to install a/the new pilot bearing until verifying that it WILL fit over your tranny's input shaft. (don't ask how I know   )

Fork can be had at Krage:
Just curious, how come you need a new pivot ball? It should be screwed into the bellhousing? Did it break off? If so, I might have a used spare.

Yep I guess I have the diaphragm type. Just thought I would replace the pivot ball since I was replacing everything else. Guess it would be OK to reuse it. NAPA said they didnt have a clutch or pilot bushing for my model but I did find a LUK kit for $130. The fork has a broken clip on the back so I guess Ill order a fork and try to find a pilot bushing.

I looked at another site that sells the Luk clutch kit 01-029 and it says the Luk kit comes with the disk, pressure plate,TO bearing, align tool and a pilot bearing :) . The site that quoted $130 didnt mention it but its the same number. Guess a call in the morning is in order.

I just picked up a pressure plate, clutch disc and throw out bearing from NAPA, I got the pilot bushing in today from Krage. NAPA has a complete kit (new stuff not reman); it runs in the high $300's.

1-866-943-6300. This is the place I ordered an kit for my Jeep with 350 motor and t18 trans, Got a great deal. Like $103.00 plus $22.00 Shipped to my door. Great customer service too. Its in Texas somewhere. I live in a small town without alot of options for parts stores without paying outrageous price, so I purchase alot over the phone.
