Bed frame is sandblasted and 2 coats of por-15 . I know I'm going to regret it when welding the sides on.... although I am considering just bolting them on since wood floor will hide bolts...still deciding

I need to get up to the steel place and get a couple sheets of 16 guage so I can make the sides and front panel but in the meantime I got 2x12 pressure treated wood for the bed floor. Ran them thru the planer down to 1". Just ship lapped them no metal strips. I will fasten with galvanized carriage bolts

What about making it a flatbed? I've always wanted a flatbed for some reason.

My father's was actually a flatbed and it would be more practical but I never warmed up to the look

Sponsoring a race car has its perks, like access to an 8ft brake
