Does anyone know where I could find a very good condition bearing retainer for a T14 Transmission?

I got one from Herm a few years ago...always worth a try....don't know if member Daryl is checking in much these days, but could try a direct PM to him, or contact him through the FB page. I'd suggest posting a WTB in the classified section here - good chance one might pop up. Don't know if there is a difference in the FRB for the v6 vs the I6, but you might want to specify that as well.

Not sure. It appears that my 1971 CJ-5 was manufactured 11/1970. From Herm it has the I6 bearing retainer that probably was not used in 1970 model years...…. So, now I wonder if the input shaft is the longer 11.5 in. or the more available 10.5 in. Guess I'll have to measure that as well.

I’d put an ad in the classifieds. You will need to specify if for the I-6 or V-6 as they are different.

That's the cool part. It is the I6 retainer that is original on the V6 engine...….. It also has the bellhousing w/o adaptor.
