It is. But I’ve been riding with a saw back there for so long, it actually feels weird without one.

My 1964 F100 with a Camaro front clip and a warmed up 351 Cleveland with a Holley Sniper EFI system and backed by a C6 transmission. It's currently in Alaska. I need to find time to bring it down to Virginia.

Any old CJRL fire hose around? stuff lasts and lasts as scabbard material, and if you have an old section of hose, you keep cutting off pieces as needed.

Yea with the 4.7 V8. Eventually, it'll get some attention.

    Edit: Good eyes.

So the KTM... it has over $1000 engine damage not to mention the other broken external stuff. Glad I'm not paying for the parts.

This is the junk truck I picked up the other day. It was possibly the biggest pia purchase I've ever made. The seller didn't quite fill me in on the details until I was at the property the truck was at. He told me a half-truth and I figured out the rest as I looked it over in the dark. He also lost the keys to it. We started at $800 and after looking it over I ended up at $400. Fair price considering it has a clean title. Now the reason I bought this bomb was so I didn't have to use a Tahoe to haul engines and what not around in also it is a 6.2 IDI. I have a soft spot for these engines (6.2/6.5). The story is the torque converter went out and when the "mechanic" took the starter off the starter mount part of the block fell off. and the truck was never finished because they couldn't figure out how to fix the starter mount. Well, the block is completely gone where the outside bolt would go so I have to figure out a fix for this and if I can't the truck will go to the can man. This is a common issue with these engines and I've seen it on sbc/bbc with high compression but the block corner was just welded back on. My plan is to try and make some sort of bracket that goes from either the frame or bellhousing to the outside starter bolt hole.

The break was clean on the block. Currently, my idea of a patch would be to make some kind of C bracket that goes on the bottom and top of the starter and then weld or bolt a couple of legs to the frame. Why these break are from both poor design and 21.5:1 compression. There is a starter bracket that should be on there but I didn't see it. The "mechanic" who worked on this last left me a mess like not putting the dipstick tube back in the transmission. It's likely a junk transmission but that is a new torque converter that they probably didn't install correctly.

I also love the 67-72 Chevy pickups. I own two. both 4 wheel drive short box pickups. Jeeps and pickups were part of my upbringing in Montana!

My partner has always wanted an early '5, so earlier last year we started looking. While hunting we realized we were gonna have to haul 2 CJs with no truck. They changed their mind and started hunting for a truck. This fell into our lap. 1972 International Harvester 1210. Factory p/s, p/b, a/c, 345 v8, 727 auto, dual tanks. Swapped in a bench seat, tossed in a huge alternator, still gotta replace some hoses, and add a new trans cooler for towing. This is their truck, not mine, I get to buy the trailer to tow the Jeep.
