For some reason I thought the transfer case was bolted directly to the tube cross member. With the only bushings at the frame to crossmember point.
Which poly did you use for the transfer case mount?
    Thanks

No, there is a polyurethane mount that supports the transmission and the transfer case as it sits on the tube.
The adapter between the automatic transmission and the transfer case has a flat mounting boss for this polyurethane mount. It’s a common Chevy automatic transmission mount.

Looking good. Just catching upon this thread. I would option for some type of rubber bushing. I have become less of a fan of the poly bushings over time. But I dunno, maybe new rubber bushings don't last as long as the old ones either. All of my poly spring eye and shackle bushings went to poop and the poly bump stops just fell off my jeep. Just.....fell.....off. These were all original parts from the rancho lift kit installed many years ago.

Maybe it's just odd way of thinking...........carry on.

Well I ditched the idea of the bushings on the ends. It was ok on driver side but not enough room on the passenger side with the TC and all. I have a regular transmission and TCase mounts. This Crossmember just bolts to the frame. The ends and parts that bolt to the transmission and TC are 3/8” plate. Those parts are connected with 1” square tubing and all tied together with some 3/16” plate. It took some time but fun project that will work well.

    Update for (almost) finished product...

The crossmember is straight from the driver side to the Transmission mount, then it makes a little Zig to capture the TC mount in the center of the crossmember.

I'm going to add a small 1/8' steel skid plate the the rear edge to cover the bottom of the TC.

Unintended (positive) consequence. It’s about 100x easier to get a wrench on the U-joint on the front of the TC.
