Grabbar?

    so from what ive seen, these jeeps are supposed to have some kind of bar on the dash? it looks like there are holes for it on the dash.

    It's optional, but everybody got one. The dealership I worked at would not order them from the factory, but install them at point of sale. The dash has the holes from the factory, filled with plugs if no grab bar.

    Chrome or black. I covered mine with foam pipe insulation.

    might be that the plugs disappeared whenever the primer was applied. would like to get one though, and your insulation idea sounds safer.

    I have one in great shape.... PM me id you want one for half the price of Rugged Ridge..... I covered mine with real leather, baseball stitched on by hand..... DSC08226.JPG

    That looks like the correct grab bar with the flattened and bent end as opposed to the welded base.
