The light green is the old US Forest Service green. I got several gallons Acrylic Enamel surplus when they changed colors.. Enough to paint inside, outside and upside down. The Metallac Green came from a friend who was moving and gave me a gallon of paint with no label and just Metallic Green written on the lid in majic marker. I bought the Summit racing 40.00 a gallon K2 primer and ordered Acrylic enamel reducer and hardner from out of state."since the Great state of Cal has banned so much good stuff" I think I might have $150.00 in material. It looks almost exactly like Willys Seafoam light green and Metallic Green offered the same year.

Ready to put the trailer away in the barn for the winter. Sure hope we don't have another winter like last year. That is a 48" aluminum rule, not even a yard stick. Fri Evening til Monday Morning. March 2020 was EPIC!

Grandpa Willis brought home his little brother today. Maybe I can get it all torn down and in the garage by the time we get more snow. My wife took pictures and sent them to her supervisor at work saying. "My husband bought me a new Jeep. I think it will buff out"

Alta, Ca. 3,500 ft between Sacramento and Tahoe I 80. They are calling for 5 ft now through next Fri. The West slope tends to get more than East of Donner Summit which is the Highest Enhabited Snow Fall Area in the US.

Yeah, you are in the dump zone. I'm in South Shore, still dumps, but not like the west slope. Nice Jeep BTW.

We put up the last lights in the shop today and I had to unbury my disaster flatfender project to roll it out of the way.

    Needs work:

This is the good side. The other side is missing the quarter panel.

I would fix it up just enough to drive it like it is.
My first jeep was an old beat up 2A. As a teen I was not old enough to have a drivers licence. It had no hood, grill, windshield, or front fenders. The engine was a L-134 from a jeep pickup. The carb stuck up higher than the dash cowl. I ran 7.50x16 tires with tire chains on all 4 wheels year round, with poor mans lockers in both axels. It was a little fussy to steer in tight places but man that thing would go anywhere you wanted to go. My friends and I rode every day after school and on weekends in the mountains, camping, fishing trips ect. All my friends would chip in for gas to get to ride. A buddy would always bring his stack of coca-cola crates with him for a back seat. We had no cushions for the front seats so we borrowed my mothers sofa cushions. She said not to let the dogs ride on them! We did manage to roll that jeep in a slow motion roll over on a very steep sideways hill, all the way over and back up on the wheels. Everybody managed to jump and get out of the way somehow without anyone being hurt. Only damage was to the steering wheel which we straightened and continued on our camping trip. We were poor as dirt but we never knew it, we still had the time of our lives. Ah the carefree days of youth..
