Welcome from Southgate Mi. I have a 1964 Tuxedo Park CJ5A that has been in my Family of friends for 37 years, first friend had it in Grayling for 27 years at his cabin, sold it to another friend Teddy, in 2000, he has a Storage Lot in Downriver, and wanted a plow Jeep. It was too Antique so I talked him into selling it to me for my Cabin in Atlanta Mi. I have had it ever since. It had the plow like you said, a rod went from the hydraulic pump mounted on the F134 through the dash and into the cab of the Jeep, pull back the plow went up push the rod forward the plow went down. I gave the plow and pump back to Donny, and he gave me all his Jeep parts for it. I got a lot of spare parts for it. A blown up F 134 motor, a twin stick transfer case, a box full of extra body parts, grill, with all the lights still in it, and all the smalls from a 64 he dismantled. I am still learning from the guys here about Early CJ 5's, there is a lot to know and the Guys here know everything about Early Jeeps, Good Luck, Rick PS I have a friend G I Joe who I gave all my extra parts to if you need anything I will help you get in touch with Joe he may have some things you need.

    Rick, thanks!

I'm excited to get to work on it, but it will be late spring or early summer for me on this one. I was raised in the Farwell/Clare area and graduated from Farwell in '67. Moved to Midland in '86 after a divorce and moved my next wife up from MO to Midland. We lived there for 15 years and then I took a job in MO in '02. Now retired, we want to move back "up north"... :)

I'm buying an acre just west of Jay's Sporting Goods north of Clare and will be putting up a new house with a 60'x60' and 14' side walls. The house will be on the other end of the workshop and it will have 10' ceilings. Won't start the build until early spring. I'll put our house up for sale when the new digs are ready to move into. Hope to have a new 2-post lift in the workshop. Never had one and always wanted on, so now's the time!!!

I plan on pulling the tub off the frame and doing a once over on the running gear to make sure all is good to go. Don't plan on much body work, just new soft top and bows to start with. Also put a new seat tank in and relocate the driver's and possibly the passenger's seat back 4" by cutting the tub a bit and boxing it in. That looks quite simple actually. And my fat gut will appreciate the extra room... :)

I'll let you know when I get into it what I may need. Thanks for the offer of the contact connection.

    Have a great week!

    Dan

Someone asked about the title matching the VIN plate, yes it does! I'll check the frame when I get it home in the spring for a number match.
