While daydreaming and surfing the web, I know a dangerous combination, I came across this EFI that might work on the F134. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sne-550-552
More info here. Holley Sniper EFI 550-552 Holley Sniper EFI Autolite 1100 - Gold

It says that it fits the Autolite 1100 mounting flange. Does anyone know if it would fit the intake manifold on the F134? Or would it require an adapter? Otherwise it seems like a decent match for the engine.

I’m more or less just thinking out loud.

    Thoughts?

Looks like the throttle bores are the same size- 1.475" (1 7/16").

Valve cover clearance could be an issue but you may be onto something :)

looks like a different air cleaner would be needed as well.

Isn't the Autolite 1100 used as a low-profile replacement for the YF? This would suggest that the base is the same. Compare base gaskets between a YF and say, a 144 Falcon. Looks the same.

I spoke with Holley about this in 2019 I think (might have been the BBD replacement one). At that time the tech saw no reason, other than physical connection/clearances, that it wouldn’t work on a FHead. They can be configured for fixed spark distribution.

Several of the Sniper line can handle boost. At the time I was thinking about a boosted FHead project.

If you find away for it to bolt it up, go for it. Just make sure it can read the engine tach signal.

I bet that'll fit an f-134 with a 2" manifold spacer, a rubber toilet gasket and a hole drilled in the air horn...

I might've used a ford replacement carb on the boosted 134 project...
Which led to extensive oil issues.

I just searched for Holley's Sniper EFI and found the post about possibly running it on a F134.

Has anyone gone ahead and actually installed one of the Sniper EFI's on a F134 yet? This could be a great upgrade for off camber driving in the woods and still maintaining good throttle response etc.

Any other EFI been used on the F134?

    Thanks in advance, Dan
