Took longer to clean the tank and skid than it took to take it out.

That is why I don't wheel in Pa. I hate mud.
If it's your thing have at it. and post pic's. I still enjoy watching Jeeps wheels up in mud.

Mine was still covered in mud from the Colorado epic back in August....took it to the car wash this afternoon and gave it a bath.

Got the radiator back in. Kicked it around the garage for about a month since I got it back from the rad shop. Looks like a million bucks. There's also a new to me 7 blade fan.

Gave the family a ride in the M38A1 on Sunday. Lots of fun.

Interior and bottom of the tub painted. Due to wind and rain over the next few days I don't think I'll get to finish painting the exterior until later this week or maybe the weekend.

Finally got the 68 running late last night early this morning. Had to borrow some parts off the '66, the old distributor cap on the 68 wouldn't even stay on.

Never noticed the 66 had a Delco marked cap.

See......If you would have given it a little bath first, you may have noticed that . I'm jus kiddn' you Here.
However , GM had a very long history with our Jeeps. Both parts & engines. Think Delco Remy , an earlier company of AC Delco, for a majority of electrical Parts. We had both divisions in the City I was born in. Rochester Products.

In all the jeep parts I've bought and sold I've never run across any caps marked Delco! It's pretty neat. You'd think for how many GM parts are around I'd see more.

Got the body fully painted on the CJ2A. I'll be moving on to the frame/axles starting tomorrow and hopefully be going the other way in a few weeks tops.

Are you welding the sheet metal with TIG or oxy-acetylene?
