Anybody running these tires? I’m thinking about running a set once I get my 1973 rebuilt but looking for pictures and lift specs Love the old school look of the tall skinnies.
    Post some pictures please!

Rear wheel arch is about 34" in diameter. You may have to cut, or put the Jeep so far in the air that the tires never reach the body. That much lift will be a problem with the short CJ-5 rear driveshaft. What's your axle ratio? You were working on a T-14 which means a 232 or 258. Performance will be better with shorter tires.

My wheeling tires are 35 x 12.5 LTB Swampers The rears barely rub on the rear of the wheel well from time to time. No damage and not worth cutting up the jeep. 2" spring lift and 1" body lift.

33x10.50R15's work out well on an early CJ with moderate lift. While it's not a common size, there are several options to choose from.

Mine are on 7.5", IIRC manufacturer data was as narrow as 7" about 3" lift. IMG_20210802_162402824~2.jpg

My 33 X 10.50s (latest BFG AT KO2s) are mounted on 7" mid-70s Renegade rims.

I have them on my 5 with about 4" of lift and I ran a rim with a lot of offset (I can't remember the exact number). The lift is more than I need for those, they measure to a 33" tall tire but the narrow CJ axles worked a lot better with the offset rims.. I'll try to find some pics later.. (I'm away from home..)

Pretty sure they are 2.5" offset..

I've got the 33x13.50 LTB's on mine. Great tires off road. On road they work ok. They are round, at least after your drive for a few miles and work out the flat spots.
