Appropriate Looking Led Taillights.

I've got another dead tail light and found myself drooling over these:

Is anyone using them already and able to post pictures of them on a jeep?

 

I used the 4" LED Flush mount on my CJ5

 

That looks Good Rodey, Nice Jeep. My Jeep is a Tux Clone, so I found some steel trailers light and had them chrome plated. I put some E Bay LED bulbs in them, but they screwed up my radio? I put 1157's back in them. Maybe the ones I bought were too cheap?

 

Radio? In a CJ?

 

It only plays "Oldies"

 

I am going a little different route, repro 1950 Pontiac with blue dots. Not LED, but can add LED bulbs.

I like the look of the superbrights, just vintage enough but still provide dumbass protection when were stopping in city traffic.

 

I have ones like that and will post some pictures. I had a pair and they failed after about 7 or 8 years and just bought another pair. Will see if they last longer. I didn’t buy them from Superbright LED but from Amazon. They look excatly the same

 

I installed the Superbrights on my CJ. Their price beats all competitors.
They work great and look almost stock...until the brightness blinds you. ha.
Here are mine with tail lights & tag light on.
The brake lights are about 3x brighter.

 

For appropriate tail lights, there are reproductions of the correct Hall 701’s on eBay (item #2817 7957 7018). I have bought a set of these and they are a true knock-off with everything correct except the “Hall 701” embossing and the “Stimsonite” lens. The lens even has the correct center reflector.

Get a set of these and install an 1157 LED equivalent bulb, and you have very appropriate tail lights!

Just my $.02 I am not worried about the jeep police calling me out with LED lights on my 283 powered, Sm420 trans, 315 teralowed D18 Jeep. Cause it's mine and I like it, to each his own. Keys 5A I like your info for those wishing to have a more stock tail light.
