I run a large bore 2gc on my of 231 I ran 48 in it last year in CO was still a touch fat. Have 46 for it for this year IIRC correctly the dauntless powered guys ran around 46. What do the plugs look like and hows the tuning timing etc?

I range in elevation from 5000'-13000' and I found 47 jets did the trick for my 225. If I stayed below 10,000 (which may occur now), I might run 48s.

Yeah I believe .51 are stock for sea level I was just curious what people run at 5000 feet to 10,000 plus my old carb I ran .49 didn't seem to run rich but my old carb had a problem and I believe it wasn't the internals I think mabe the body was to worn I rebuilt it twice according to the Manuel specs it ran just not optimal I think I will just put my 49 in this new carb being that it runs great other than the black smoke barreling out the company I bought it from said they would jet accordingly but I think it was a sales man I talked to tomorrow I will pull the airport off and see what's stamped
