T90 Question

In process of rebuilding my t90 on the 64 cj5. Every video or image i find shows 2 indentations on the rear of the cluster gear for the thrust washer. Mine does not have these indentations. Was wondering how to proceed with my rebuild. T90-a1 and 12-1 casted on the case. M128-2 stamped on the top lip. I would upload a pic but site says mine are too large to upload from my phone

 

Did some more digging on various sites. Seems i need to order the thrust washer without the bumps or mill the notches in the small end of my cluster gear

 

The thrust washer should be tabbed into the case. Little oil slots in em for oil circulation against the cluster.

 

Thx jw60, i have the cluster gear made for the thrust washer without the "bumps".

 

There were two styles, one used the notches in the cluster/counter gear and one that used the notches in the case. You need to match the thrust washers to which style you have.

Looking back mime is definitely tabbed to the case on the input side.

I believe now the reverse end is tabbed to the gear and case. (This feels like yesterday but looks like 3+ years ago)
