I have had to replace motor mounts too often for my liking. Is there a good source of motor mounts for the fhead? Walks just looks like the crown/omix rubber that degrades and cracks in a year.
Bombproof mounts are a hundred bucks a set.

    Thanks in advance

I'm not convinced Crown is any better than Omix these days. I'm also not sure there are other manufactures of these but I would buy them from Debella, Walcks, or Ron Fitzpatrick. People that care about what they sell. I don't think there is any difference between the MB/2A/3A/3B/Cj5/CJ6 four cylinders for these. Personally, I would be inclined to get these: https://www.vintagejeeps.com/p-2221-engine-motor-mount-a7498-jmp.aspx

a set of mounts from bigwillyjeep just arrived, I'm putting them in my 56, they should last forever. if the bushing ever goes, you can replace just the bushing.

for what it's worth, the last set of "OEM style" motor mounts I purchased (from Kaiser Willys I believe?) were made in India, the threads on the studs were horrible (chewed up and very loose), and the rubber seemed way to soft. I'm guessing the steel studs were about as low grade of a steel as you can get, seeing as how badly they were chewed up.

I got a set of engine mounts from Quarter Ton Military. They are in GA. Good people.

I think I better take a look at mine after reading this forum. I have not paid any attention to mine since 2007 when I put the motor in.

I too got some mounts a few years ago from QTM which look to be well made.
