Still Looking For Power Steering Parts

I thought I might hit the mother load in Seguin,TX when I discovered a post on Utube when a guy took his son to an old wrecking yard for his birthday. They had a bunch of AMC cars there. I'm still trying to put together my parts for a power steering conversion for my '74. I'm going to use the passenger side pump mount and the rest of the original install locations on the conversion. I think I can fab the rest of what I need but since the pump is pretty generic, I bought one off of Rock Auto but I still need the pully. Anyone have a dimension they can toss my way or better yet a source for it? Thanks Y'all. CC

 

Rock has the pulleys as well ( 74 cj5 258) you need to measure your crank pulley to see if you are require a 10 or 12mm belt before ordering.

Assuming you are using a “ham can” style pump, those generally use a press-on pulley. If you don’t already have one, invest in an installation tool for the pulley. They’re pretty cheap. Mine was less than $10 way back when I bought it.
The proper tool lets you precisely “adjust” the pulley in or out on the pump shaft to get the belt alignment correct. There are multiple backspace measurements for the pulleys, from nearly flat, to a deep offset. You should be close if you find one from an AMC engine matching yours. V8 or straight 6?

Thanks Keys, I have a 6 with the ham can. I have several pullers already so not sure which one would work. I'll look into it.
