    I was kidding about the Unknown GI part but am genuinely curious about the function of the bolts. I haven't been able to find anything about them in the manual.

    If I remember right they are for the upper door hinge for soft tops.

    Yep upper canvas hinge goes inside the frame there and your big ol KC spot light goes outside.

    Thanks for the replies. Those holes make a lot more sense now.
    That is a super legit light. It looks like you could use it as an aircraft searchlight when the windshield is folded.
