WTB Tanktop Fiberglass Hardtop

Looking to buy a TankTop fiberglass hardtop and doors for a pre-1976 CJ-5.

 

I had never heard of these until recently, they're super cool

 

From a previous owner (its been a long time) but make sure you get latches and hinges and if I remember right there is a top piece. Another tidbit is use searchtempest and search nationwide. They pop up every once in a blue moon. I missed out on one last year in AR that was sold for a song

 

That is certainly tempting...

Does anyone know what would be involved in restoring the fiberglass to looking like new? If there is no fiberglass repair, would it be as simple as cleaning and painting it?

 

Not mine and not a Tanktop but a nice Acme- OKC. Thought I'd share if you are close by. I'm scouring every couple days for parts, if I come across a Tanktop I'll let you know.

I really like that one. But I think I am too tight to pay that for a top. I won't even spring for a soft top.
