Steering Wheel Position

    looking at pictures mine points to the left and that agrees with my memory. I'ld rest my left hand on the spoke on long drives and it had a pull to the right.

    Took this picture back in 1973 of my 71 and the front wheels look straight ahead. And everything is still all original. Looks like to me one spoke it at 0° and on the bottom they are at around 120° and 240°

    But if you look at the famous pic of the 3 R-IIs together with the front wheel straight, the steering wheel looks just the just the opposite. So who knows for sure.

    With only 60° of difference between the two, isn’t that the normal range of play in a Ross system?

    I put mine down and hook my thumbs in the spokes while driving. I wish I would have painted mine with Chassy Coat before I put it on, the paint from the factory is worn off in 11 K miles.

    For me too. about parallel with the ground.
    I like to hang my arm out the window and use the spoke for steering while driving

    I thought you were supposed to do more like 930 and 230 in case of airbag deployment
