Looking for some parts for the W-O gearbox on the back. I need at least 1 of the stamped steel caps on the closed end of the shafts and 1 breather that goes on top. Probably going to need the companion flange too before this is said and done. Thanks

I recommend cross posting the WTB over on the cj2a board. Lots of guys over there with PTO boxes and someone may have parts.

Is the breather the same as on the d18?

Already crossposted on several sites. Thank you for the suggestion though.

No, it is not the same as the D18 breather.

I saved the companion flange after weeks of patient soaking and heating and hammer smacking over and over again. Added the 2 jaw puller to the cycle and one evening it started to move. Time to attack. It came off the shaft while heating and cranking the puller.

Still searching for the other parts and now, the shims that go under the bearings. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. This stuff is hard to find apparently. Or just no one wants to sell their stuff. Which I can understand.

The only thing I have left from mine is the "spacer" that was sometimes used between the end of the d/shaft and the box.
Evidently there was a shorter shaft used at one point (flatfender appl?).
Mine was worn out and no one wanted to sell parts so I sold it all.

Thanks Sid. I appreciate the reply.

Yes. I know folks have parts. No one wants to sell. I understand. I am patient if nothing else.
