  3. Stretched ?
    Without fish plating or boxing?
But, did gouge a big hole at the steering box mount and didn't fix it.
    No thanks!

Lot of welding on the rear axle tubes and looks like a panhard rod mount welded to front axle casting?

The wheels and tires were pretty much what I cared about. The axles and springs would be icing on the cake. Frame would get sold for scrap if I had it.

    Go get it!

We’ll, since nobody else was gonna buy it…

The wheels and tires are very nice! Springs are straight and look near new. Shocks are certainly serviceable.

And, for bonus points: 4.27 axles, and limited slip or locker in the rear!

$1345 cash money. We bargained a bit, he held out for $1350. I had cash in Franklins, but had some miscellaneous bills in my wallet.
    I’m pleased with the purchase!

I could use a good intermediate frame. The one I have is pretty rusty, but my springs and axles are nice. Too bad you’re probably 1800 miles away. -Donny

    Donny,

The key word there is “good”. This one is not. It’ll go the the local scrap yard after I strip it. It’s been cut here and welded there, extended by 8 or so inches to fit a CJ7 tub, and has brackets and crap hanging off in all kinds of places.

From the ad photos, it looked as though it had a power steering box but only part of the shaft is there.

Other than axles, suspension and wheels, it’s junk.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the front axles has functional Warn locking hubs - another $100 or more in value. I bought an old, old set for the wagon for $90, but these are newer and nicer.

In my humble opinion, I bought $3000 plus in ‘stuff’ for $1345; a bargain.
