    To all,

With much deliberation and thought, I have decided to leave my original unrestored V6 emblems (pictured above in this thread) as they are and put them on back on my 66 cj5 with the newly painted spruce green type color .

    For what it is worth,

Well now I am really curious. I did repaint my 71' Renegade emblems to how they were before restoration. They had a ton of blue paint on them.

It's a repo from eBay. Very nice quality. Has the posts on it like my originals that are in rough shape. I was going to repaint mine but even the chrome was peeling and pitted. These new ones come with the speed nuts too.

"Public Lands for Public Use" is what the CA Assn Decal said I think. Way Kewl.

On eBay maybe? I see some Jeep Station Wagon emblems on there that appear to be repops. I didn't go past looking at the picture because, for the asking price and the "new" looking condition, I figured they could not be NOS which is what I would be after. Not repops.

I'l go take a look. I had to replace those when I changed the front fenders so these may not have that.
My favorite sticker I have on my Jeep is "Keep public lands open to the public"

    Waking up this old thread.....

I came across these V6 emblems on eBay. I've never seen a set with these colors before, and am just curious if anyone happens to know what vehicle they came from. They appear to be original, though I suppose they could have been repainted at some point.

Looks like they're the older pin connector type

I wonder if the oddly colored emblems could be from a Dauntless marine installation?

I’ll put my money on finding gold under the green, and orange under the beige. I’m pretty sure thats someone’s customization.
