Too much alcohol in the gas and it passed out. Kidding just kidding. You must elaborate or we will be shooting all over the place.

Trevor welcome aboard. Great bunch of very knowledgeable folks her and you can be sure we can get you going. First get a test light or volt meter and make sure the battery to cable connections are good. You have a v6 but is it a GM type engine and not a ford? Do you have a starter relay or is the starter solenoid mounted on the starter?

Assuming this is the stock 225. First, check and make sure you are getting 12 volts to the solenoid from the battery. Probably best to remove that cable and the ground and clean both. Check the battery ground cable end at the engine too. If all that is good, then remove the start lead from the solenoid and check to see if it is getting 12V when the key is in the start position. If there isn't 12V there, it is either that start lead wire or the ignition switch. If you do have 12V, the solenoid is likely bad.

    Thanks guys!

Was a bad ignition switch! jeep cranks now but with no spark. I assumed the switch was good as it was supposedly “new” when I bought the jeep, but that’s why you never assume I guess.
