This just started pooping water out of the holes. From what I can see, it isn’t even supposed to be wet. It’s a bit wet in the intake manifold where it came from. Do I have a problem? IMG_2615.jpeg

That’s the part I’m hopeful about. There is none, so as I research I think I may have caught a bad intake gasket early

Just something to think/look at. Some of the bolt holes on the Intake to Head are wet. They tap all the way through into the water passageways. I believe it is even more so on the inside two cylinders for both banks. So on this riser where it is on the passenger side of the engine, you may be seeing water seeping from the manifold bolt that is right next to these two choke heat riser bolts. You are correct though the heat riser should be dry, and I don't think either bolt is close to a water passageway. I'd look closer at the manifold bolts. if you see those discolored or leaking "puddles" in the manifold area seal those bolts with RTV and let dry well. Then run and check again. I've got two myself (one on both side), that weeps a bit and puddles on the manifold coolant.

It seems i had jumped the gun. After removing the tube, I looked inside the manifold and found it to be dry. Further, I found the return hose from the heater core had a small leak, and was leaking onto the manifold. I got my “jumping to conclusions” exercise for the day.
