Won't line up with the windshield? The posts won't line up? Did they fit before the windows were worked on? We need more info, pictures would help. The windshield angle can change because of the rubber seal under them if those have been changed out.

Grant, great point. I did lower the windshield to do some priming. It must me off somehow. The doors
did fit when I first got the Jeep. Wishe I’d marked the angle. Do you know what the measurement should be.
The frame of the door is hitting up against the tub on the bottom

Can't see how the metal frames would have changed while replacing the windows.

The windshield angle can vary a little between jeeps, that is why the hold down clamps are adjustable. I would just unlatch the hold downs, get the doors installed, then you should be able to see what is causing the trouble. If the doors fit okay before the windshield is about the only thing that could have varied.

    Grant, Thank You!
I unlatched the windshield and put the door on. It was tight but I got it to close. The tightness hopefully will improve.
    Merry Christmas

Did you find someone who can put new windows in with the "melting" of the vinyl to door, or did you have the new window sewn in? I haven't found a place to redo windows that can use the factory method ( I forget the term now, but it melts the window into the vinyl ). Could you post up a pic, curious how it would look with the sewn in method. That is the only way my upholsterer can do. I have a white whitco that needs restoration, windows are garbage.

x2, I have researched this as well without any success. I was wondering about the man who did the interior work for your jeep. Have you as him?

The word I couldn't remember was vulcanization... That is the process of "melting" the windows into the top as they did from the factory. I asked my guy and we kicked around several ideas. But he doesn't have the tools to actually do the vulcanization method. Only the sewn in method. Not sure how that would look, so haven't pulled the trigger yet to do it. If only I could find a NOS White Whitco in a box all nice and new :)

I believe they did vulcanize the new windows in. I’m traveling but will post some pics when I get back
