No mention of the front caster being fixed. FWIW, throw the Scout knuckles and outers away and use GM, Ford or Dodge knuckles and outers. Much stronger than the stupid bolt on hubs.

Just the hubs in the box are worth it.

If it wasn’t a $500 trip out there, I’d already be on the way to get them!

Maybe I am wrong but....I know they are D44s, but I am not sold on scout axles. First they are quite long, like wider than wide track CJ, and even a but wider than wagon axles. And you have the caster and long steering arm knuckle issues, and you have to deal with fitting them on narrow spring perches and the integrated/cast spring mount on the passenger front. If you are redoing your entire suspension design, maybe you make it all work together, but for straight swap CJ, i think I'd rather have a D30 - either WT or NT? And for my wagon, I'd much prefer to find NT FSJ D44 pair?

The scout axles are a bit narrower and wagoneer axles. Yes, they do have issues with the front, but they do work. I did the swap on my CJ7, but it took three axles to build my front. I used Chevy high steer knuckles and ram charger stub shafts, spindles and hubs. I had to do a little finagling to make the 2.5" wide YJ springs work with the cast in boss.

These Scout axles work really well (nearly perfect swap) on the Willys Wagons, but you still need to be careful to correct the caster. These are the more desirable later version with front discs. Those 8 bolt brackets are unique to IH.
