304 Starter Motor

Hey all,
I need to replace my starter motor on my 75's 304 because it started not wanting to fully disengage after cranking and sounds like grinding gears. Is there any brands to avoid and what is preferred?

 

I've had good luck with the ones that NAPA has in stock.

 

x2, on the NAPA starter. Bought one about 3 months ago. Good so far, But not used it much.

 

X3 on the Napa, installed one in my university parking lot back in 2008. No problems and its seen its share of extended cranking when the carb bowl goes dry.

 

Picked one up from NAPA this afternoon and will install this weekend. Thanks for the replies!

 

Success!! It only took about 30 minutes and I also replaced the 3/4" bolts that barely made it to the threads with 1-1/4" bolts flat washer and split washer.
