    Dont know much about this subject but have been reading what ever i can to find out more info. Can i pull a used dist. out of a junkyard ? And which vehiles? Or should i buy new? Any info. on both will help. Thanks.

    Yes.

    75-76 Buick OF V6s. Some 77s just hafta look at it and make sure it's an OF not an EF.

    Can buy new at your FLAPS.

    Can convert an EF too using OF parts and a cuttoff wheel. That's been documented here before. Oh and if you do this, don't get a computer controlled one.

    bought my parts new last winter (still haven't installed) told the counterman needed a complete HEI setup for a '75 buick apollo with an odd fire v6. was cheaper than getting the petronix conversion as well (by $10).

    this was one of the best mods i did to mine with out a doubt. do a search here about installing it, some of us had to grind down the corner of the intake a little.

    Has anyone done an HEI with an OFFY 360 manifold? I remember reading something awhile ago that maybe the manifold was too thick or tall or something the front bolt?

    i know that i had to grind down almost all the way into the driver side front bolt hole for the intake. and i put a hex head bolt in there for even more clearance. i have a edelbrock so not sure on yours

    Heres the part number from Advanced auto parts- dist.- 301693- 127.00. gc401- coil-15.00, dr113 cap-10.00, dr109- button-6.00.
