Throw out bearing part number

    Local NAPA and Partsmaster dealers cannot come up with a throwout bearing for a project. the one in it sounds like a bad rollerskate. The jeep is a 68 cj5 225, t 14. Anyone know a part number for the bearing??

    Try Advance Auto & ask for Federal Mogul part MFG# 1697 (if you have a diaphragm p.plate), or #1625 (if you have 3-finga Borg & Beck). :beer: There could be others, and of course make sure it matches what you have. The manuf. #s of these are actually on the side of the bearing.

    Ok, I will throw it in the parts cleaner and see if I can get a number up. I wiped it down but could not find a number.
