correct finish for headlight bucket

    What would be the correct finish for the headlight bucket? Zinc or galvanized plating ,painted or just raw pot metal?

    Black painted, with a satin finish IIRC.

    Mine are zinc coated, I think. They are a flat silver color which I'm pretty sure is stock since they still have the factory 12V stencils on them.

    rob c. would it be possible to see a picture of the 12volt stencil.
