Responded to an ad on a Jeep a block from my house. The ID number puts it at a 1955. Body rotted to Hades. Has lockout hubs, 1964 Buick 225....newer?? rollbar?

If you had an opportunity to get parts from this what would you rob...in order :)

What if you had a 48 CJ2A? What swaps from the CJ5 to it?

    Thanks!

If it's cheap and you have the space for it, grab it! Worry about the details later. You'd be surprised what parts are in demand and hard to find. Especially if it has the original seats.

If your planning on getting it and parting it out send me a pm. I'd be interested in the frame if its not too bad of shape.

Heavy parts are harder to get rid of than something like door hinges, but its always nice having an extra axle or 6 around "just in case" ;)

He "WANTS" $500. IF you want to check out the frame, I don't want to say good, bad or otherwise...it is north of Gaylord or wait until spring. He says he will part it out but saying it and doing it outside when it's freezing is easier said than done. Windshield is cracked and this is an old hunting camp vehicle. Right now it's in a yard covered in 10 inches of snow. I do not have an extra $500 as I am paying off in two Jeeps now. I could store it and split some parts with you if we wanted to go in together on it.

Said it has split twin stick...how do I know if it is a 64 model V6 I do not know enough to ID anything by eyeball like a T90. I know what a 0-90 speedo looks like :)

I am a newbie but I already own THREE Jeeps in the last 8 months.
