I am looking for body mount brackets for a 73cj5. I cannot find them anywhere - I have look at quadratec, 4wd hard, jeep doc and everywhere else. They only carry the ones for a 76+ and they are not long enough for the 73 at the firewall mount. Does anyone know where I can get these or have some laying around they need to push out?

I still can't find them and if nobody has any ideas does anyone have some rough dimensions for them because I am leaning towards fabricating them? I put the tub on last night just for a look see and it sits really high with just the 2.5" lift. It is going to look good. I attached a picture of the tub look see.

Both of mine are rusted out, and I am going to fab mine. Should be interesting. It is one of those projects that I am putting off. If I get it done soon I would be happy to share some pics of my hackjob.

    Jake -

I fabricated mine a while ago using cold rolled steel. I think it went really well. It was a lot cheaper than buying then - and I couldn't find them. Just wanted to let you know how it went. Check out the picture.

I fabricated mine on my '73 CJ5. The originals were pretty flimsy anyway.
