74 Renegade Decals

I have been searching for 10 years now for the correct decals for my 74 Renegade. The ones offered by Austin Jeeps come down at a sweeping angle and not at a 90 degree angle like the ones originally on my Jeep.

The "Renegade" along the side of the hood and the blackout on the hood are the same. It turns out that I had stashed away the "curved" section as well as the "bottom" section under the word Jeep. They are OEM original decals that a friend who's family owned a Jeep dealership for 50 years found in the attic of the dealership. I had forgotten about them until I read PiolotMike's thread on his Renegade and saw how great his decals look.

I contacted Mike of AustinJeeps.com (who is a really good guy!) and told him about the two sections I have. He had me send them off to him so his graphics guy can reproduce them!! He should be ready to sell the decals in a few months....

I will keep you guys posted on the progress of the project. Hopefully I will get one of the first sets and finally after 16 years my CJ5 will be a renegade once again!!!!

I spoke with Mike of Austin Jeeps a few eeks ago and he told me the Decals are in the works!! Hopefully early next year......
