Well, the I lost the rnd of a sheard wheel stud into my front rotor, It seeme to snap almost all the ring of bolts on the end of the axel, the thign that slides over the axel shaft it seems to have about 8 or so nut and bolts holding it on. The thing that the brake splash gaud bolt up to. (Sorry I had pics of it but they got deleted). Basiclly I need to know if i could just get any old bolt to replace these.

Next Question, when ever I backup into a turn, it seems as iff I am binding on something or somewhere. When I push in the clutch and am coasting backwards, I can feel it like it is beging forced to stop, almost as if I am pushing the breaks.

your not in 4wd with the hubs locked in, are you? sounds like gear bind (happens in 4wd on a hard surface that wont let the tires 'skid' a little)

Well, i just went and played around a bit with my hubs and putting in and out of 4wd (with out actually driving in 4wd) and nothing changed. But I did notice that my brakes are still in need of bleeding from the wheel stud change, I guess it is tiem to start knoking on doors for a poor sap to help me out.

He's saying he broke the bolts that secure the spindle to the knuckle. That's the thing that the brake splash guard bolts to, right? You need the special studs for that. Any old bolt will not do.

Yep, that would be it, any idea on where I would find those studs? right now I have two that were not sheared and the rest were sheared in a way that is gunna make them a pain in the *** to beat out.

Jeep dealer should have them, or you can take one of the old ones to your FLAPS and have them match it up.

    What is FLAPS?

The problem with me taking them off and hoping for a possible match is my jeep is my only mode of transportation, I was kinda hoping of being able to over night them to me from somewhere.

The ones from DM off road are the style you need. The first ones are to replace the bolts on locking hubs with studs. I'd measure yours to make sure you get the right length as there are two lengths that I'm aware of. Nickmil

Thanks nick, I will prolly order those tomorrow. Also I think, after driving my jeep a bit around the parking lot, that I messed soemthing up putting my hub back together as I only get my reverse problem when I am turning, it is fine just going straight in reverse. When I get these bolted in I will take a lookat this. I guess this nesxt week I will be hitchin to work again.
