Crossmember match-up

    My '56 or'65 frame ( don't know the exact year ) My neighbor who gave me the jeep ( basketcase ) says it's a 65 but the spring shackles type are the ones that were not on the units after the "57 model year. Anyway, the frame is missing the transmission/transfer case crossmember. I have access to a CJ3A part but not sure if it would fit the CJ5 frame. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Should work may need to drill a few holes for mounting tranny but doughnut mounting for transfercase should be the same.

    The U bolt shackles were used up until the 60's on the cj3b.
