81 cj7 tranny and transfer case ??

    I bought a 81 cj7 ,, it has a 258 in it and the stock automatic transmission and transfer case,, it is not a quadratrac,, can someone tell me what this tranny and transfer case are please? Thanks

    In 81, I am pretty sure that would be a torque flite 999. "TF999".

    Oh...and I think that the Dana 300 transfer was used from 80 to 86. So that's probably what you have.
