The T96 pictured doesnt quite look like the one used in the Willys SW. besides the DJ3A, 4-73HT, 65-66 DJ5 & 6, The T96 was also used in the ol Fords, Studebaker 1958-64, Rambler 1960-65, and international S120, 130 & 150 ser 4x2. It may be from any of these models. are there any other casting #s available?

I have a T96 out of the early rambler and some of the gears are interchangable with the willys Trans, but other gears & main shaft etc Can be different. I suppose best way of finding out what your looking at would be to search for Trans pics of the Ford/chevy/studebaker, AMC's T-96 to find out which vehicle used it?

sounds legit to me. The willys pickups came with column shift till 1949 i think. If the t-96 was an option then it should be factory. Am i wrong?
