found a t18 out of a cj with a d20,wandering what it is worth and what else i would need to put in a 1966 cj6a with a :v6:

 

If it's from a 76-79 CJ it's a good find, should be able to mod, your bell housing and make it work.

 

it doesnt say exact year just cj ,but it comes with bellhousing with 258 on it and a spacer/adapter.cant find out more about it until monday

 

If it came out of a CJ it should be pretty easy to swap over. If it came out of a J-series truck then you will have to do a short shaft conversion or it will be a very long drivetrain.

Measure the length of the input shaft. If its 10 or 11 inches long then you will want to change it out.

 

Hicks 4x4 can supply or machine your shaft to the configuration you need.

 

If it has a 1" thick adapter on the front then it most likely is a '72-'75 style with the 4-1 first gear. If no adapter on the front then it could be a '76 to '79 wide ratio style with the 6.32-1 first gear. The '76 to '79 is easier to adapt.
If it has a very long input with about a 4-6" thick adapter on the front then it is from a Waggy or Jeep pu and would need the Ford input shaft and modified bearing retainer.
It's possible someone already adapted a Ford T-18.
Lots of options here so would definitely need more info.
