53 willys 3b

    this project all started 5 years ago. its all been planning and gathering parts up until now. after blowing up my dana 25 i decided it was time to do the build. heres some shots of the progress so far. i definitly want to hear what you guys think. also any concerns about what i have done or should do. but i dont want to hear any bs about how im ruining my jeep. on with the pics.

    I'm a huge fan of the 3B's. Alot of people think the high hood looks funny but it really grows on me. Good luck.

    Looks like you are on the right track there. Chuck out the old springs and go with something more modern. I love the Flatties. Even the redheaded stepchild 3b is way cool. Let us know where you are headed with this project, you have us all hanging. What are some of the other specs of your rig? Have fun.

    yj springs, toyota axles, hybrid drivelines, dana 20 t case, rims, tires, power steering, brakes, clutch, hanging pedals, full cage, and possible engine and tranny.

    the fronts are 3/8's flat stock i fab'd.
    the rears are stock toyota front u bolt plates turned upsidedown.

    in case you where wondering, thats my steering, pedal assembly, tranny and the tcase is on the bench just out of the photo.
    sold the 33's, and the pimpy rims didnt get remounted...
    picked up a set of new tires and rims.

    a little bit wider than before...

    rolled it outside to get leadfoots xj inside to do a mock up on his new lift kit, and got a few night shots of the new look.

    due to life changing events this build and everything else in my life to this point is on permanent hold. i may not be around the forum very much. thanks. happy jeepin everybody.

    thanks to everybody. w/out to much detail, i have fallen away from a good path and am now paying the consequences. but im taking it one day at a time. thanks to everybody for any prayers you could give for my wife and family

    One day at a time is the right approach. Took some wrong turns myself some time back. Still doing one day at a time, things are much better. There is light at the end of the tunnel... hang in there. :tea:
