I cut down a Scout 2 dana 44 for the front of my 67' cj5. The steering arm on the Scout axle is longer than my old dana 27. Is there an off the shelf pit arm that will fit my saginaw power sterring box?
    Thanks for any input.

A Scout 2 pitman arm will fit a Saginaw box. I've got one in the garage and can measure the length later today if interested.

    Ok,
Scout 2 Pitman arm is 9 3/8" center of hole to center of hole. The master splines are in line with the arm. Overall length is 11"

'76 and up CJ power steering arm is 6 3/4" center of hole to center of hole with offset master splines. Overall length is 8 3/8".

Sorry but I don't have a '72-'75 CJ arm to check out.

If you can't run a pitman arm that long I'd look at using CJ knuckles then you can use the shorter pitman arm. You will need to re-drill the knuckles for the 8 stud spindle/brake bracket pattern or re-drill the spindle and brake bracket for the CJ 6 stud pattern.

A little pricey, but the Reid Scout knuckles have the shorter steering arms and if you want high steer, you can also make them any length you want. Bolt on beef. Just curious, what wms/wms did you build?

I took about 4" off the driver side. It is now about 5.5 inches wider than stock.
2" spacers on the back even it up pretyy well.
