I think the ports for the brake fluid lines are on the wrong side of the cylinder. Check it out and pm me I have a new one that I can get rid of.

I am going through this right now, with my 71 jeep. The origanal m/c is dual bore and the replacment is single bore. the fittings on the original m/c are smaller than the replacement m/c. you can gett fitting adapters to match existing lines as long as nothing is in the way, on mine the exhaust is in the way. If you use the single bore m/c you'll will need to install a proportioning valve on the rear lines to keep the rear from locking up on hard braking. Finding rebuild kit or a reman m/c is near impossible. I know of only one person that may have a rebuild kit left. when I found mine he said he had just a couple left and I got one. I had my m/c bored and sleaved for around 135.00 the kit was 50.00 + shipping not cheap! good luck! need name and # of person with rebuild kit let me know.
