I'm getting ready to replace the 4 cyl. with a buick 252 and have been rounding up parts. I picked up a power steering pump and bracket today from a 1984 Buick park ave 5.0 liter v8. I thought it was going to fit but guess what. No fit. Can anyone tell me where I might look to find the right one? Or better yet if anyone might have an extra one laying around. The 252 is the same block as the 231. Any help would to appreciated.

I believe you can source the right one from early 80's and older Buick RWD cars, V8 or V6. I think mine came from a 60's Skylark.

Also lots of information if you search...

There's a good chance the 5.0L engine in the 84 Park Avenue wasn't a Buick engine. GM used Oldsmobile engines in these vehicles frequently, and the Olds engine is very different with the front accessories. If the distributor was on the back of the engine, it wasn't Buick.
Any small block Buick V8 engine brackets should work on the RWD V6 engines.
