Tuesday I changed the thermostat in the tan cj5 from 195* to 180*, and it certainly runs cooler....

I would check all bottom end bearings, and if this is all you find that is bad, put that one in it and run it. You may destroy some other stuff,...

That extra 20in length on a cj6 is good for more than just seating. ;) I built a home made tank that spans the frame rails. I gained 9 gal with it.

Looks like a caster shim (wedge) between the frame and hanger bracket. Looks better now
I got a cj3B, a cj5, and a cj6.
The 3B has stock type springs from KW or Walks. Don't remember
The 73 cj5 has 2in Skyjackers with RS 9000 shocks...
