I think you need to find a later grill, 70 or 71, that has room to mount the larger radiator used on the later V6's. Your radiator looks too...

He has a bestop from about 1990. Equivalent to what they call the tiger top now. Hardware from the tiger top will work.

I switched to larger diameter tube & the 1310's. I was able to get the differential & transfer case yokes from Herm.
That is a Saginaw steering conversion, a common and very desirable upgrade. The previous owner did the right thing if it was done correctly....
