Power steering or not, slow speed tight turns are tough. If I had it to do over I would go selectable up front.
The MB-5 we run has the following: 225 Dauntless, Jeep T18 (wide ratio) 6.32:1, Jack Obrien Rock Eater (Super 18) 4.86:1 and 4.27:1 in the...
I run 4.27s behind the 225. It's on 35s with no overdrive.
That ratio difference is no where near enough for that mileage change... there is another variable you need to account for.
When I change out the tub on the MB5 I'll look to go M38. The large tunnel opening makes it a plus.

If you have the WARN built Black Diamonds you will be hard pressed to find better off the shelf. It may be cheaper to have a spring shop rework...
The MB5 runs 1.5 spacers in the rear. No issues although I do have a full float conversion.
I consider an SOA a hardcore mod so unless you have the time, patients and intelligence actual use for it and be willing to experiment do not...

Ethan, I'm in Syracuse NY and have a t-86 I will give you if you can find it a ride. It was behind a 225 and has been replaced by a t-18. It was...
