So, on the left side of the block , there are 4 ports. the rear is where the oil pressure switch goes, the next one has a plug with a hole drilled...
It was actually transferred from an engine with a cracked block. it worked fine in that engine, soooo I really dont know what the issue was
now to wait on parts
O.K. so to update. got the impeller down on the shaft a little more and interference is still there.ordered another pump today. BTW.......
