    Thanks for the quick response!

I installed the brackets/latches and must have used nuts or something. Time to fix that.

been going through my parts manual and ran across this part listed in the special equipment section with snow plows.

Do you think this is the part shown in my pic?

Nope. Those springs (1 on each side) mount between the plow frame (in the hole obscured by your red circle) and the top edge of the plow (moldboard) itself and return the plow to upright position after striking an obstacle.
Not attached to the jeep frame at all.

Thats a ballast resistor from back in the late ‘50s/early ‘60s from the Rambler/American Motors era.

I have been planning to takes some more closeup photos with measurements. Also the minimum and max travel positions of the handle and post them. I have plans to visit a marble industry museum near by. might be someone there able to recognize it. We have had covid for 2 weeks and have not felt like doin anything thru the holidays.

You could try to do a google search of a picture. I have done it but it is a pain the rear locker.

Anyone know what to call these Grommets/spacers that seem to be holding down the valve cover? Or a part number for me to be able to source a replacement? They are dry/cracked on my f-134 1964.

Also, I've been trying to find what i'm missing when it comes to my fresh air intake tube but I cannot find a diagram or decent photo of what needs to be done to attach the tube to the grille. I assume some sort of screen would also be there in order to keep critters out but that's a VERY specific angle to google search haha and nobody seems to have posted a pic of it as far as I can find. Does anyone have info about how the tube is supposed to attach or what parts/screen etc I'd need to finish that off?

    Thank you in advance!

Don't know - except to say my '88YJ came OEM without a screen. The air cleaner became a mouse condominium. Really stupid design flaw.

I used some 1/4" hardware cloth and a few screws to add one on the outside of the opening at the grill.

HAHAHA. Initially I was thinking i'd wrap the tip in petscreen but I think a mouse would be able to chew right through that now. Good call on the hardware cloth. Maybe I'll cut out a circular insert that I can stuff into the tube itself...In order to save more holes being drilled in the grille.

Ok so this isnt a high oil content/high pressure area? I can just throw any rubber washer on there that covers the hole?

Worked for me, and no not really "high content, high pressure", just oil spraying around up there.

Mine hasn't leaked a bit after a year and a half. The correct seals are smaller, but I didn't have any on hand and wanted to get my Jeep back on the road.
