Does anyone know what size radial tires I can buy for a set of 16x5 steel wheels?

How tall do you want? Someone on here posted pics of their jeep with 215/85R16's that looked good.

That is a good size of tire for a stock/stockish CJ5.

The KH Heavy Duty 16" x 5" wheel was intended for use with 7.00 x 16" tires.

I think a person could go as large 7.50 x 16 or even the wider 235 85 R16 with good results.

I've got 235/85/16 on the 5" rims on my wagon and they fit perfect.

Not sure the look you are going for but BF Goodrich makes their Mud Terrain KM3 in 7.50-16
